Product overview
RFID reader Sampo S1 is a mountable fixed UHF RFID reader with adjustable reading range. It is equipped with a light sensor and a tapping sensor, which can be used for triggering the reading. The GPIO connector allows connecting external peripherals. UHF RFID reader Sampo S1 has three external antenna ports, which enables expanding the reading coverage.
The Sampo family is a product line of high performance and multi usable RFID UHF readers. The readers are designed to fill the needs of the areas of point-ofsales, document tracking, access control, tag programming stations, smart shelves as well as smart displays and inventory management.
The reading range of the RFID Sampo readers can be adjusted from a few centimeters up to 7-8 meters. This, together with the versatile reading settings, makes Sampo S1 reader suitable for a vast number of applications.
Together with the Nordic ID mobile computers the Nordic ID Sampo family provides a complete RFID hardware solution for all purposes.
